I paint like a mad-hatter for a good hour and get most of the hallway covered in brown, before the creatures return (every last one) with the widget trailing behind. The task, mostly, completed. Their company then, should be cute?
The raring up I can amend, at least it can be prevented, it could become a serious problem where safety is concerned, however.

This is a scene I wrote years ago, when my Granddaddy passed away. I finished the scene this winter when my Grandma joined him. One day I shall take the story further. For now, I hope you enjoy.
