I have two separate avenues that I would like to take my writing. Would anyone out there in the writing world advise against taking my two separate platforms onto two different blogs? Would this be effective or just a waste of time?

Well I did it before – and it certainly upped the ‘hit’ ratio. I’ve recently decided to take that route again, and I’m in the process of transferring material as I write now. One blog can get very ‘busy’ and turns folk off. Two spreads the load so-to-speak.

Thanks for the feedback. Please tell me, though. What do you mean, “in the process of transferring material as I write now”?

Basically I’m breaking my blog into two blogs – the original (which comprises posts that feature my life and general idiocy) – and a mark 2 version into which I’m transferring all the extracts from my un-legendary, but rather rude ‘n’ ribald, Hamster-Britain books – a slow and laborious business by the way.
